“They threw sticks at us, called us names, and stole our hats at recess. We declared war against the male species and safely assumed they carried a contaminating disease called Cooties. As we chanted, “Girls go to college to get more knowledge, boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider!” all our fairytale dreams lay dormant inside us. Resting in a peaceful slumber, our dreams were unawakened until that magical day in middle school when we met a blonde-haired hunk who looked just like Prince Charming.” –When Life Feels Like a Taylor Swift Song: A Girl’s Guide to Boys
