So, I love to can. Love LOVE to can. I know, it’s freakish BUT seriously, I love it. I love at the end of the day having something to show for how hard I worked. And that we basically reap the rewards of it all year long. It saves us soooo much money.
So far this year I’ve done zucchini relish, chicken broth, bacon jam, green beans, peppers stuffed with hot sausage, peppers stuffed with sauerkraut and hot pepper dip. The mister and I are going to try our hand at sauerkraut this year as well, as long as my amazing mama gives us some lessons on it 🙂
