wow, what a great week this has turned out to be. it is just one happy thing after another.

todays happy spot – i went to the post office to mail my layout to mm and guess who was the postmaster? my best friend from elementary and high school. i have so totally missed him. we were equally happy to see each other, which rocked. we exchanged email addys and phone no’s and totally expect to go to dinner soon. he has always just gotten me, ya know, so totally stoked!

i can’t wait for this months pi kit to get here. i totally want to create with it and i dont even have it yet. it is always filled with such yummy stuff. and this month i got an add-on so double excited.

i’ve been really crushing on these kits lately and can’t wait to get the chance to get one. how totally yummy do they look? love me some zingboom.

so joey is back with the first girlfriend now, the one that calls 7 times a night. although she doesn’t now, i put an end to that. once or twice a night is sufficient i think for now. gosh, at 9 years old i’m pretty sure i was still playing with barbies, not calling boys. and if i had called a boy my mom would have kicked my butt!

Manic Monday (errr…Tuesday)

it might be tuesday but it sure does feel like a monday. how much does it totally SUCK trying to get back into the “work” thing after a nice long weekend? ugh. at least it’s a short week this week.

one good tuesday note, a layout i did of joey was picked up by memory makers for their may issue. totally stoked. totally shocked. totally excited.

oh yesterday, what a glorious day off. although at one point i thought the house sounded awfully quiet and it made me sad, then that moment passed and i enjoyed the rest of my day. i got all my dt work done for lpa. did laundry. watched jerry springer (i told you i was going to). watched a baby story. talked on the phone to mom, joe and jen. i just did whatever my little heart desired and it was bliss.

one other thing i did yesterday, i broke out the old typewritter. totally love it on layouts. really inspires me.

That is the only word I can think of to describe how our photo shoot went. I am just TOTALLY in love with all the pics I got of Joe. Dang, I love when I see a pic of him and it makes my heart skip a beat. Whoda’ thunk it after 11 years together, he can still give me butterflies! Here is one of my fav pics from the shoot {and just so you know, I stood in 3 inches of mud to get this rad pic}. Hot, huh girls! We went to a barn out in the woods and took these pics. I can’t wait to do layouts with these pics. I went and printed them off last night, lol, I couldn’t WAIT!
I’m so sad to report (yeah right) that baby Joey does NOT have that girlfriend anymore. Thank GOSH! So peaceful this weekend without a 9 year old girl calling every 10 min. He broke up with her on Friday AFTER he had another girl lined up for the position of “girlfriend”. He told me he’s “got his groove on”. Where does he get this from? Must be his Papa Alan.
Tomorrow, oh glorious Monday, the day where the kids have school and Joe has work and I’M OFF! Oh heck yes, a fun filled day of scrapbooking. I’m planning on finishing my work for LPA, watching WHATEVER I want on TV and maybe even having a nappy. Pepper and I can have all the love time we want without Joe saying “you and that dog are SUCH freaks”. So super excited for tomorrow.
I just can’t hardly WAIT for my new PI kit to get here this week. LOVE me some PI. It is just filled with yummy goodies to do some love lo’s with, perfect for the pics of Joe. I should have my kit by Thursday, YES!
Off to finish my cleaning (so I can be SURE I have nothing pressing to do tomorrow).
