i can’t believe it’s our last day here, booo…although i’m sad to see it come to an end, i am going to be VERY happy to sleep in my own bed once again & to have some AIR CONDITIONING…i’ve complained to joe for years that we don’t need air at home, that we live in the country and can just open the windows and let the breeze blow through BUT at this point i will welcome it…we are in the second row of houses so the first row gets the breeze off the water…
every morning the kids and i would go lay on the beach early early and feed the seagauls…or “seagauligans” as jade called them…we laughed SO. HARD. every morning, like seriously almost-peed-my-pants hard…this first picture has “mr. mean neck” in it (yes, we named nearly all the birds)…mr. mean neck is just as his name says, MEAN…he would tuck his head way back in his feathers, make this awful squawking sound and chase all the other birds away to get all the bread himself…he wasn’t so much into sharing at ALL…
again, another picture of mr. mean neck…it was hard to get a picture without him in it…BUT what i want you to pay attention to here is that awesome raft in the background…our neighbors brought this raft and shared it with us and it was A-MAZ-ING!!! it can fit 6 people on it very comfortably, it also had a netting in the middle so the water would splash up through and keep you cooled off…it has an anchor so you don’t have to worry about floating off…i would DEFFO recommend an investment in something like this and i can tell you the cutlers WILL be buying one before next year…
awwww…joe said i look like i’m kissing santa…and yeah, this was my basic hair style for the week, pulled back in a big fat messy bun…
