and as for the overall winner…ugh…i wish it had been tara. months ago i never thought i would say that BUT towards the end that is who i leaned to. i really liked mike BUT ron kinda ruined me on him. and helen, she cried all the dang time, which drove me insane. and last night she was just soooooo full of herself. and i really thought she looked sickly and too thin. but, it’s done now…now to look forward to next season.out for now~kisses
pugutch…
i’ve had a few requests as to what exactly pugutch is…it is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! it’s polish, like piergoies, haluski and kielbosi and sauerkraut. some of our FAV recipes in our house. here is the recipe…it’s totally DELISH!
Pagutch (pag uch)
2 loaves frozen bread dough
5 pounds potatoes, pared
1 pound cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 stick margarine or butter
1 onion, diced
Thaw bread dough in frige overnight. Saute onion in butter. Boil potatoes and mash. Add shredder cheese and beat. Stir in butter and onion. Pat or roll one loaf of bread dough to fit in greased jelly-roll pan. Spread all of the potato mixture on top. Roll second loaf of bread dough to put on top. Seal all edges.Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
i’ve also made it with crescent rolls and instant potatoes. still just as yummy. also, i like to cook my onions until they are a nice golden brown.
enjoy!!!

geesh…
i’ve totally neglected this place for a few days…i promise the rest of this week will be better…
we had an AWESOME weekend!! friday night we went to our friends house and hung out with some other couples from church…we had a GREAT time but we always do there. saturday joe and joey went fishing with the church. jade and i went to ladies tea at the church. it was AMAZING! the food was out of this world, seriously. it was such a good time!!! after we left the tea we took some of the other girls and met up with the guys to fish some. then we headed home, got cleaned up and went out for dinner. such a fun day!
my mothers day on sunday was awesome!!! i got up early and put my FAV meal in the oven, so it would be ready when we got home from church. i made bbq chicken, cheesy potatoes and pugutch. YUM! after we ate we got the 4-wheelers out and rode them to our friends house where they had a birthday party for their son. great time of fellowship there. and we ended the day with some fishing. good times!
our busy time of year is starting and honestly i welcome it…lots of birthdays, weekend events, end of the school year activities…i also have a pretty big job coming up next week that i’m excited about!
